our purpose

the purpose of the metaphonian alumni association is to establish an alumni extension, of the society, along with creating a liaison to foster sisterhood between the alumni, sponsors, pledge mistress council, and the metaphonian actives. furthermore, the association is an avenue for alumna to fulfill our pledge of lifelong metaphonian sisterhood. the association's primary goal is to support and maintain metaphonian traditions, and strengthen our bond of sisterhood through various activities throughout the year. additionally, the association will participate in community service, for both whittier college and the local community, as a means to highlight the importance of servitude within our society. lastly, the alumni association will provide a social network for alumna to continue to strengthen our metaphonian bond upon leaving whittier college, thus supporting and strengthening our life long metaphonian sisterhood.
